Alissa J. Bratz, Founder & Executive Director Alissa began her parkour training in June of 2007, with lots of help from Mark Toorock at American Parkour. Soon afterward, she created Madparkour. Since that time, Madparkour has participated in various outreach programs for Girls, Inc. and Fit City Madison, as well as hosted the Midwest Jam in 2008. Alissa attended the PK Generations/PK Horizons Expo in Ohio in 2008. There she had the opportunity to learn from Stephane Vigroux, Forrest, and Dan Edwardes. Alissa also participated as a learner and facilitator in a Women's Parkour Seminar at Primal Fitness in Washington, D.C; the first and premier parkour gym in the US. A former ballet dancer and current faculty member at the School of Madison Ballet, Alissa is passionate about movement and bringing parkour to as many people as possible. She is also a French teacher, linguist, and avid traveler.
